A Loving Spoonful is a volunteer-run not-for-profit organization that provides free meals for individuals and families living with HIV and co-existing illnesses in the Downtown Eastside. Together, the Outreach & Awareness committee at UBC Red Cross is offering an off-campus volunteer and awareness opportunity for UBC students to take part in assembling, packing and labeling meals at their Downtown Eastside location.

Join us at 6:00PM at Buchanan room D205 for a night of trivia! Learn about social issues in Canada, and if you win, take home some snacks and prizes!

Find us outside the nest from 11AM to 4PM March 11th-14th to pick up your donuts and help us raise money for our annual appeal!
Learn some first aid skills taught by students with first aid training! Join us in ANGU 339 from 6-7PM to learn some first aid skills, free snacks included!

Join us in ANGU 293 at 6-7PM for a night of first aid and Red Cross themed Jeopardy for a chance to win a gift card! Admission is free and snacks and drinks are provided.

Come out to BUCH D205 from 6-7PM and help us assemble overdose prevention packages. Attendees will help package safety injection kits and learn about harm reduction sites, admission is free!

We are calling all young thinkers across BC to join the UBC Red Cross for a full-day conference packed with engaging activities and inspiring discussions designed to tackle various critical humanitarian issues. Open to high school and UBC students!
